Chronos (also Chronus, Cronus or Cronos) Chronos (Χρόνος) is the Greek word for time. In Greek mythology, Chronos was the god of time and king of the Titans. He was the son of Ouranos (Uranus) and married to his Titan sister Rhea. Eventually Chronos was overthrown by his son Zeus, god of thunder, who became king of the Greek gods.
