Meet the Team – Tina Fotherby Tina Fotherby has supported John C Taylor and his team since 2014 when the Dragon Chronophage clock was exhibited in Shanghai, making it one of the most enjoyable assignments of her career. Other exhibitions followed, including Innovation & Collaboration at Bonhams in 2018. The consultant’s main role has been to promote initiatives and like the rest of John’s team, she’s happy to roll up her sleeves and do whatever is needed. Her current focus is editing the Clocktime newsletter and creating the Clocktime social media content, as well as handling media enquiries. “I adore being surrounded by enthusiasts and there are plenty in the world of clocks, watches, sundials and scientific instruments. This is what makes the role so interesting. I’m working with people who are passionate about art, design and technology – three of my favourite subjects. I can learn something new every day and get the opportunity to admire stunning objects at close quarters.
